Description

In this podcast episode, I talk with Emma, a nurse who juggles a demanding schedule with her job, family duties, and caring for her parents. Despite her unpredictable work hours, Emma has managed to maintain a steady exercise routine. She has reignited her passion for running, particularly trail running, which helps her deal with stress. However, Emma feels that her extra weight is a setback compared to her running mates and has set a goal to lose weight.

I discuss how often people hesitate to openly admit they want to lose weight due to fear of failure. I emphasize the importance of setting clear goals and pursuing them consistently, avoiding quick fixes in favor of sustainable methods. 

Emma's weight loss efforts need to consider her stage in perimenopause, which adds another layer of complexity to her fitness journey.
